Welcome to First Notes Music
Providing Early Childhood Group Music classes for children under the age of 6 in Sydney, Australia. Our classes aim to help your child foster a love for music and understand musical concepts like beat, rhythm, pitch, and tempo while building their motor skills, memory, confidence and much more.
Why Provide A Musical Education?
Music is a natural human skill, and our voice is the first instrument we learn to use and something we believe should be nurtured from a young age. Class content will vary across age groups from six months to two years, two to three years, and four to five years. Our classes cover musical elements such as beat, rhythm, dynamics, and pitch. Our activities and games incorporate critical areas of development such as:
1. Coordination
2. Confidence and social bonding
3. Speech and language
4. Major and motor movement
5. Self-expression
In addition, music training may help boost spatial-temporal skills and inhibition control, pattern recognition, and neural activity growth. Your toddler may also benefit from enhanced memory, recall, and future academic success.
Why Choose Our Music Program?
At First Notes Music, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to explore the world of music. The First Notes Music philosophy is to help children build a positive relationship with music, and pursue musical avenues or interests as they grow. Our program focuses on developing a strong musical foundation, fostering creativity and encouraging self-expression, and instilling a love for music in your child. Through interactive and fun-filled music activities, we aim to enhance your child's cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Our program is progressive and created following the Early Learning Framework, combine with Kodály Method teachings. We use a mix of classic nursery rhymes, games and original songs in our lessons which your kids will love to sing. They give space to encourage imagination and fun while learning, inspiring them to find the beat to their own drum.
